63 and 68-Year-Old Men Arrested for Affray at Telok Blangah Hawker Centre

A viral video showed a physical altercation between two elderly men at the Telok Blangah Crescent Market on the afternoon of November 24, 2025. The footage shows a white-haired man charging and landing multiple punches on another man who was armed with a stick, before a bystander intervened.

Police were alerted to the fight at Block 11 Telok Blangah Crescent at 5:25 pm. Subsequently, two men, aged 63 and 68, were arrested for the offense of affray. The police confirmed that the 68-year-old man was conveyed conscious to the hospital for treatment. Affray, which involves fighting in public to the disturbance of peace, is a serious offense punishable by imprisonment for up to one year, a fine up to S$5,000, or both. Police investigations are ongoing.
