Fatal PIE Crash: 27-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies After Collision with Car

A 27-year-old motorcyclist died following a serious accident with a car on the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on November 10. The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force were alerted to the collision, which occurred on the PIE towards Changi Airport after the Lorong 6 Toa Payoh exit, at around 10:20 am.

The motorcyclist was found unconscious at the scene and was rushed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The police have arrested the car driver, a 31-year-old man, for driving without reasonable consideration and causing death. The arrest indicates police suspect the driver's lack of due care was a factor in the fatal outcome of the collision.
