Liverpool's Luis Diaz Misses Match as Parents Face Kidnapping Ordeal

 

Liverpool's Luis Diaz was absent from the squad in a Premier League match against Nottingham Forest after his parents were kidnapped in Colombia.

His mother has been rescued, but there is uncertainty about the whereabouts of his father.

Liverpool expressed concern and prioritized Diaz's welfare. Colombia's national team also showed support for the player.

Diaz had been a regular starter for Liverpool in the Premier League this season, with two goals to his name.
