Man who Raped his Daughters gets another 10 Month's Jail

A Singaporean man who raped three of his daughters and sexually abused a fourth was given an additional 10 months in jail on Monday, October 24, 2023.

He was previously sentenced to 33 years and two months in jail but was certified to be permanently unfit for caning due to health reasons.

His oldest daughter was sexually abused from the age of six or seven, and only his fifth and youngest daughter was spared.

The man's abuse of his daughters came to light in 2018 when his youngest daughter reported it to the police.

The man's other daughters have said that they are still traumatized by the abuse and have difficulty trusting men.

The man had appealed for a shorter jail term, but his appeal was dismissed in 2022.
