The body of a Singaporean kayaker Chew Jia Tian, 33 who went missing on Sunday near Sentosa, Singapore, has been found and retrieved by the Singapore Civil Defence Force. The 33-year-old woman had gone on a kayaking expedition with three companions when her kayak capsized while trying to rescue a friend whose kayak had also capsized. Unfortunately, only one of them was rescued by a passing boat. Preliminary investigations do not suggest foul play, and the area where the incident occurred, known as the Buran Channel, is notoriously challenging. Her selfless act of trying to save a friend's life led to her own unfortunate demise. She's an angel from my perspective. Rest in Peace Ms Chew!
