SGH Confrontation Chinese National Women Faces Charges After Altering Work Permit and Confrontation with Police
A Chinese national, Han Feizi, who had a confrontation with police at Singapore General Hospital (SGH), allegedly lied on her work permit application by stating she would work as a clerk, but she reportedly worked as a freelance hostess instead.
She is now facing charges under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act. In addition to these charges, she also faces several counts of misconduct, including public nuisance, using abusive language toward a public servant, and assaulting a security officer in a separate incident.
Han recorded her interaction with the police at SGH, and the video went viral on social media.
She is expected to plead guilty.
