In Singapore, a former investigation officer, Zaini Ibrahim, involved in e-cigarette offences has been charged with 13 offenses, including corruption, insulting modesty, and outraging modesty.
Zaini, a 54-year-old Singaporean outsourced by the Health Sciences Authority to WSH Experts, allegedly sought sexual gratification from a woman he was investigating for e-cigarette offenses.
He is accused of offering leniency in exchange for recommending a notice of composition.
Additionally, Zaini is charged with molesting two female suspects, insulting the modesty of two women, and sending lewd messages.
If convicted of corruption, he could face up to five years in jail and a fine of up to S$100,000.
