Hotel Employees Face Charges for Allegedly Profiting from Prostitution Activities

 



A 36-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man are set to be charged on December 18, 2023, for their alleged involvement in benefiting from the earnings of prostitutes and employing a staff member allowing prostitutes to use hotel rooms.


An enforcement operation conducted by the Central Police Division in April 2023 at a Beach Road hotel led to the arrest of eight individuals for offering sexual services through remote communication services.


Investigations revealed that the woman, employed at the hotel, facilitated the provision of sexual services, earning commissions deducted from the workers' earnings.






The man, the hotel-keeper, faces charges for employing the woman involved in the alleged activities.
