Two Women and One Man Arrested for Brawl Breaks Out at Paya Lebar MRT Station

 



Two women and a man were arrested for affray after a brawl erupted near Paya Lebar MRT Station in Singapore. The incident, captured in social media videos, showed a physical altercation involving shoving and hitting. The police were alerted to the fight, and the 40-year-old and 45-year-old women, along with a 26-year-old man, were arrested for affray. SMRT Trains is cooperating with the police investigation. In one video, a man is seen being attacked, retaliating with a plastic bottle, and the situation escalates near the train station's entrance. In another video, it shows a brawl at the MRT station. The investigation is ongoing.

ICA Officers Arrested Sri Lankan Overstayer in Woodlands Rooftop Garden

  A twenty seven year old Sri Lankan national was apprehended by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority during a strategic pre-dawn operation on April 8 2026. The individual was located while he was sleeping in a rooftop garden area situated above a Housing and Development Board multi-storey carpark in Woodlands. A team consisting of eleven plainclothes officers participated in the mission after receiving specific intelligence regarding the man's immigration status. Official records indicated that the suspect was an overstayer whose social visit pass had reached its expiration date on June 28 2025. The operation took place at Block 574 Woodlands Drive 16 where the suspect was observed in the company of another foreign individual. Boon Lay Flat Set on Fire in Loanshark Attack, 3 Youths Arrested

The police were alerted to a residential unit where the main door and gate had been set on fire, and loanshark graffiti was scribbled on a nearby wall. Using images from police cameras, officers from the Jurong Police Division and the Criminal Investigation Department identified and arrested the trio within six hours. A mobile phone, a marker, and clothing were seized. The police warned that youths will not be treated leniently for such crimes, which carry severe penalties including fines, jail time, and caning.
