ITE Lecturer Receives Jail Term for Showing Obscene Video to 12-Year-Old

Kenneth Loh Jiahui, a former Institute of Technical Education (ITE) College East lecturer, has been sentenced to five months and two weeks in jail for intentionally causing a 12-year-old boy to view an obscene video.

Loh followed the boy into a lift at a housing block, where he showed the explicit content on his mobile phone, attempting to "tease and arouse" the minor.

Dismissed from his position at ITE College East, Loh's actions were deemed persistent and lacking in remorse by the judge.

The 12-year-old victim reported the incident to his mother, leading to Loh's arrest.
