RSAF Lieutenant Colonel Pleads Guilty to Trespassing and Molesting NTU Student

Lieutenant Colonel Neo Aik Chiao, a suspended member of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), has admitted to trespassing into a Nanyang Technological University (NTU) student dormitory and molesting a 21-year-old student.

Neo, 47, entered the student's room in the early hours of Nov 13, 2022, under the influence of alcohol, making inappropriate advances and offering her S$1,000 to keep him company.

The court heard that despite being repeatedly told to leave, Neo touched the victim's thigh and arm.

He faces charges of criminal trespass and molestation, with sentencing postponed to a later date.

Safety Concerns Lead to Putting Down of Large Crocodile in East Coast Park

A large saltwater crocodile, approximately 3 meters long, was recently spotted near East Coast Park in Singapore, leading to its capture and the decision to put it down due to public safety concerns. 82-Year-Old Among Victims in Armed Robbery Attempt in Tampines

A 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a case of attempted armed robbery with hurt that took place along Tampines Street 22. The incident occurred on May 12 at around 1.30pm and involved two victims — a woman aged 82 and another aged 30. According to a police statement issued on May 13, preliminary investigations revealed that the man had approached the two female victims and demanded that they hand over their valuables.
