Seven individuals, including six Singaporeans and one Malaysian permanent resident, have been charged in connection with Singapore's largest seizure of electronic vaporisers and related products on 29 February 2024.
The charges stem from arrests made almost a year ago at a multi-storey carpark in Sembawang, followed by a warehouse raid in Mandai where over 85,000 e-vaporisers were uncovered.
The accused face various charges related to possessing and distributing vape products, with one individual facing the most charges totaling eight.
The prosecution seeks fines for most of the accused, and they are the latest to be charged in connection with the March 2023 operation conducted by the Health Sciences Authority.
