A 58-year-old bus driver tragically lost his life on Tuesday morning (Apr 16) after crashing into a tree in Woodlands.
The incident, involving bus service 911, occurred along Woodlands Avenue 2 en route to Woodlands Integrated Transport Hub.
No passengers were aboard at the time of the accident. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the bus, was rushed unconscious to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) personnel responded to the scene, with efforts to revive the driver captured in a video clip circulating on social media.
The authorities are conducting investigations into the incident.
