From April 21 to 26, 2024, the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) conducted an extensive anti-drug operation across Singapore, resulting in the arrest of 67 suspected drug offenders.
The operation led to the seizure of various drugs including 572g of cannabis, 222g of heroin, and 55g of 'Ice', with an estimated total street value of approximately $62,000.
Notable raids in Bukit Batok and Corporation Drive uncovered significant quantities of drugs, including a major cannabis haul of 314g.
The operation highlighted ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and abuse, with one of the youngest arrested being a 16-year-old girl.
The CNB reaffirmed the illegality of possessing any part of the cannabis plant, emphasizing the severe penalties under Singapore's Misuse of Drugs Act.
