Annual Aid Breakdown
For financial year 2024, eligible households will receive 2.5 times the regular U-Save amount, amounting to up to $950.
- This support will cover about eight months of utility bills for households in one- and two-room flats.
- For three- and four-room flats, the rebates will offset about four months of utility bills on average.
Permanent GST Voucher Scheme
These rebates are part of the permanent GST Voucher scheme, aimed at assisting lower- and middle-income households. The scheme helps mitigate the impact of rising living costs and the recent goods and services tax (GST) hike.
Rebates under this scheme are distributed quarterly in April, July, October, and January.
