30-Year-Old Man Killed in Admiralty Road Accident

On June 20, 2025, a fatal road accident occurred along Admiralty Road towards Woodlands Centre Road at approximately 3:15pm, involving two motorcycles, a truck, and a lorry. A 30-year-old male motorcyclist died at the scene, while another motorcyclist, a 56-year-old man, was taken conscious to Woodlands Health Campus for treatment.

Emergency responders from the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force arrived shortly after the incident. Footage from the scene showed paramedics covering the deceased with a white cloth as emergency vehicles secured the area. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Traffic in the area was disrupted as police cordoned off the site to begin forensic assessments. The identities of the victims have not been released. Investigations are ongoing to determine liability and the full chain of events in this multi-vehicle collision. Witnesses are urged to contact authorities with any relevant information.

Chinese National Jailed After Repeated Illegal Entries and Bribery Scandal

On July 15, 2025, Chen Guangyun, a 39-year-old Chinese national, was sentenced to three years’ jail and six strokes of the cane after being convicted of four counts of graft and two immigration-related offences.
