Woman Thrown Out in Car Crash at Jalan Sibu, Bintulu

A dramatic car accident believed to have occurred in Bintulu, Sarawak, left a female driver visibly shaken after she was thrown out of her vehicle when it skidded and rolled into a roadside ditch. The incident, which reportedly took place around 2pm along Jalan Sibu near a construction site, was captured on CCTV and has since gone viral online.

According to the post, the woman’s car appeared to lose control near the roadworks, causing it to swerve violently, hit a ditch, and overturn several times. The force of the crash was so intense that the woman was completely ejected from her vehicle during the rollover.

The CCTV footage shows the moment the car veered off the road and flipped before coming to a stop. In the aftermath of the crash, the woman was seen sitting up in a disoriented state on the roadside, having been thrown clear of the wreckage. She then stood up and appeared to shout something inaudible, although it was unclear whether her reaction was directed at a passerby, the vehicle, or simply out of frustration and shock.

Witnesses quickly attended to her after the accident, and initial reports indicated that despite the severity of the incident, the woman suffered only minor injuries. She was fortunate to have escaped more serious harm, given the circumstances and the violent manner in which she was ejected from the car.

The exact cause of the accident is still under review, but the loss of control on the road adjacent to a construction zone suggests the possibility of poor road conditions or driver error. Authorities have yet to confirm details about any investigation or whether emergency services responded to the scene.

Online, the video has sparked discussions about road safety, particularly the critical importance of wearing seatbelts while driving. Commenters highlighted that wearing a seatbelt might have prevented the woman from being thrown from the vehicle. The footage has since been removed from several platforms due to graphic concerns, but not before drawing significant attention.

No other individuals or vehicles were reported to have been involved in the accident, and there were no indications of external impact or interference. There has also been no statement from local police or emergency authorities as of the time of writing.

The incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by sudden skidding and loss of vehicular control, especially in zones under construction. Road users are urged to exercise additional caution when navigating through such areas, and always to wear seatbelts regardless of perceived risk level or driving familiarity.

Safety experts often stress that seatbelts are the single most effective tool for preventing fatalities and serious injuries in vehicular accidents. Being thrown out of a car drastically increases the likelihood of death or traumatic injury, and this case underscores that reality.

While the driver in this incident escaped with minor injuries, her survival was likely due to a combination of chance and environmental factors. Observers have commended her resilience and expressed hope that this incident will raise greater awareness of vehicular safety, particularly among young and solo drivers.

As the footage continues to circulate in discussions across social media, many have also called for improved safety signage and better road condition management near construction sites in Bintulu and similar urban zones.

Water has been observed seeping from an electrical powerpoint, with puddles forming on the floor and walls showing bubbling and signs of damage from moisture. The source of the leak appears to be an external wall adjacent to the master bedroom, according to assessments by the main contractor. However, the leakage has already caused significant damage to the flat's walls and paintwork, leaving the homeowner distressed. Adding to the frustration, the main contractor advised the homeowner to avoid using the affected power switches in the living room and bedroom due to the risk of a short circuit. Despite the warning, the homeowner has no choice but to turn on the light...

Crackdown on Illegal Ride-Hailing with 4 Drivers Caught in LTA Operation

In a recent operation conducted by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore, four drivers were caught and had their vehicles impounded for providing illegal ride-hailing services. These unauthorized services operated both within Singapore and across the border to Malaysia, posing significant risks to passengers. The LTA has issued a stern warning to the public, advising against using such illegal services due to the lack of proper licensing and insurance, which can leave passengers vulnerable in the event of accidents. The operation underscores LTA’s commitment to ensuring the safety and regulation of ride-hailing services in Singapore. Drivers caught offering illegal ride-hailing services without a valid Public Service Vehicle (PSV) Licence face severe penalties, including fines of up to $3,000, imprisonment for up to six months, or both. These measures are in place to deter unlicensed operators and protect passengers from potential harm. Illegal ride-hailing services oft...
