Elderly Driver Causes Four-Car Accident at Nex Shopping Mall

 



A 73-year-old male driver is assisting police investigations after a four-car accident at the multi-storey carpark in NEX shopping mall on December 6, at approximately 2:30 PM.

The incident, which occurred along Serangoon Central, resulted in a 66-year-old male driver and his 60-year-old female passenger being taken conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Eyewitness video footage, shared online, showed a silver car speeding down a ramp from the third to the second level. As it reached the second level, it violently collided with a second car, which was then flung into two other parked cars, creating a four-vehicle pile-up. The severity of the impact is under investigation by the police.
