Man Confronts Driver over Alleged Kpod Abuse

A late night confrontation occurring near a carpark entrance at Bedok Reservoir View has gained significant attention after video footage of the event was shared across social media platforms. The incident took place at the entrance of a carpark situated within the Longvale Housing Board estate. The circulating clips depict a high tension exchange between two men that eventually escalated into physical contact and a series of loud verbal accusations.

The primary conflict involved a man dressed in a grey shirt and a driver wearing a green top. According to the visual evidence provided in the videos the man in the grey shirt approached the vehicle and initiated a confrontation with the driver. The situation turned physical when the individual in grey opened the driver side door and forcibly pulled the driver out of the car. As he did so he was heard shouting a continuous stream of vulgarities and loudly accusing the driver of engaging in dangerous and irresponsible behavior.

During the recorded exchange the man in grey repeatedly pointed at the driver and made specific accusations regarding the driver’s actions near the vehicle door. He suggested that the driver had been using a specific substance which he identified during his shouting as a Kpod. These are electronic cigarette cartridges known to contain etomidate which is a potent anaesthetic drug. Under the Misuse of Drugs Act in Singapore the possession sale and import of such substances are strictly prohibited due to the significant health risks they pose. However it is important to note that at this stage there has been no official confirmation from authorities regarding whether such a device or substance was actually present or used during the incident.

The driver appeared visibly shaken throughout the encounter and was seen falling to the ground on more than one occasion as he was being confronted. Despite the aggressive nature of the verbal attack the driver was heard repeatedly apologizing to the other man. The individual in the grey shirt continued his loud scolding questioning the driver about the potential danger his actions could have caused to other people in the vicinity.

The scene became increasingly chaotic as the man in grey eventually entered the vehicle while the driver attempted to hold the door open to continue the conversation. The disagreement continued beside the car with both men arguing intensely. The commotion drew the attention of nearby people and at least one passerby approached the duo in an attempt to calm the situation and defuse the tension. Another bystander who seemed to be recording the event was heard advising the driver to move his vehicle and park it properly inside the carpark instead of leaving it stationary at the entrance where it was obstructing traffic.

Despite receiving this advice the driver exited the car once more to continue the argument with the man who had initially confronted him. The videos of this incident have reached a wide audience with one popular social media account reporting over 200k views and hundreds of comments. The public reaction to the footage has been varied. Some people expressed the opinion that the matter should have been reported to the police immediately rather than being handled through a physical and verbal confrontation. These commenters felt that direct intervention especially involving physical force was not the appropriate way to manage the situation.

On the other hand some members of the public argued that if the driver was indeed acting in a dangerous manner or was under the influence of a prohibited substance immediate intervention might have prevented a serious accident or injury to others. There were also those who commented on the sheer intensity of the verbal outburst noting the passion with which the accusations and vulgarities were delivered. As of now the exact legal status of the incident and whether any formal police reports were lodged following the viral spread of the videos remains to be clarified.

Singapore and FBI Collaborate to Nab Illegal Gambling Operators

YouTube Link:  https://youtu.be/LfbfaHsiyjU A major international illegal gambling syndicate has been disrupted following a coordinated operation between Singapore and foreign law enforcement agencies. On October 5, 2025, the Singapore Police Force arrested seven men, aged between 28 and 53, for their suspected roles in running a transnational remote betting operation. The investigation began in March 2023 after police received multiple reports from individuals who had been enticed to open accounts with an online gambling website. The victims were instructed to transfer money to anonymous bank accounts in exchange for gambling credits. Initially, the scheme appeared legitimate, as victims were able to successfully redeem small winnings, which were transferred back to them from untraceable bank accounts. This process built a false sense of trust and security. However, when victims continued gambling and attempted to withdraw larger sums of money, the syndicate changed its tac...
