Elderly Man Falls From CompassOne Escalator

 



A viral video surfaced on November 22 showing an elderly man lying on the floor next to an escalator. According to the original post, the incident occurred at Compass One, where the man is said to have fallen from the escalator.

5 Months Jail: Man Busted with Etomidate Vapes for Sale and Illegal Extendable Baton

  A 24-year-old man, Muhammad Izham Rasol, has been sentenced to five months and 11 weeks' jail after pleading guilty to a total of seven charges that included serious vape and traffic offenses. A further 10 charges for similar offenses were taken into consideration during sentencing, bringing the total number of offenses to 17. The charges included the possession of Kpods (vapes laced with the drug etomidate) for sale, driving without a licence, and the possession of an illegal extendable baton. Fatal PIE Crash: 27-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies After Collision with Car

  A 27-year-old motorcyclist died following a serious accident with a car on the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) on November 10. The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force were alerted to the collision, which occurred on the PIE towards Changi Airport after the Lorong 6 Toa Payoh exit, at around 10:20 am. The motorcyclist was found unconscious at the scene and was rushed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The police have arrested the car driver, a 31-year-old man, for driving without reasonable consideration and causing death. The arrest indicates police suspect the driver's lack of due care was a factor in the fatal outcome of the collision.
