A massive pile up on the Seletar Expressway has left five people injured and traffic at a standstill. The accident happened on March 14 2026 at around 10am on the SLE towards the BKE. Two trucks two lorries and a motorcycle were involved in a dramatic chain collision that was captured on video. A large truck was seen rear ending a lorry which then hit another vehicle causing it to flip onto its side. All three lanes were blocked and traffic was backed up all the way to Lentor Avenue.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force had to use hydraulic rescue tools to save two drivers who were trapped in their lorries. Five men between the ages of 28 and 52 were taken to Khoo Teck Puat and Woodlands hospitals. Thankfully all were conscious when they were rescued.
This accident comes as traffic police report a rise in accidents across the country. Investigations are now underway to find out exactly what caused this dangerous pile up on one of our busiest expressways.
