A significant fire at the Eunos Industrial Estate required a substantial five-and-a-half-hour operation by emergency services before it was fully brought under control. The Singapore Civil Defence Force was first alerted to the blaze at 1079 Eunos Avenue 7 on November 1 at approximately 5:30 PM. The fire involved building materials and office equipment and quickly grew in intensity. It fully engulfed three workshop units, while a fourth unit suffered partial damage to its roof area. Firefighting crews successfully prevented the flames from spreading to other parts of the industrial building.
