  A sixty eight year old man has been handed a custodial sentence following a series of criminal acts that targeted a neighbor and a young student. The individual identified as Rosrankani Abdul Latif faced a total of eight charges involving various offences such as voyeurism molestation and theft. On March 13 2026 he pleaded guilty to four of the charges and was sentenced to a total of eight months and one week in prison. The first series of events involved a twenty three year old female neighbor. Investigations established that starting in January 2025 the man noticed the woman’s bedroom window was occasionally left open and the curtains were not fully closed.   A massive pile up on the Seletar Expressway has left five people injured and traffic at a standstill. The accident happened on March 14 2026 at around 10am on the SLE towards the BKE. Two trucks two lorries and a motorcycle were involved in a dramatic chain collision that was captured on video. A large truck was seen rear ending a lorry which then hit another vehicle causing it to flip onto its side. All three lanes were blocked and traffic was backed up all the way to Lentor Avenue.  The Singapore Civil Defence Force had to use hydraulic rescue tools to save two drivers who were trapped in their lorries. Five men between the ages of 28 and 52 were taken to Khoo Teck Puat and Woodlands hospitals. Thankfully all were conscious when they were rescued.  This accident comes as traffic police report a rise in accidents across the country. Investigations are now underway to find out exactly what caused this dangerous pile up on one of our busiest expressways.

  A legal case involving a high tension confrontation at a multi storey carpark in Sengkang has resulted in a conviction for a fifty year old man. On March 11 2026 a judge found Chia Hiok Seah guilty of committing a rash act that endangered human life. The incident which took place on June 29 2024 involved a complex dispute between the accused his female companion and the womans husband identified in court documents as Goh Yong Sern. The events began when Chia Hiok Seah and a woman named Shunyi went for dinner with friends before driving to a carpark near her residence to engage in intimate acts. According to statements made during the proceedings the pair were nude inside the vehicle at the time of the encounter.   A tense situation unfolded near Geylang Serai Market on the night of March 9 2026 when an auxiliary police officer was targeted in a knife attack. At around 9.50pm a forty five year old man was seen on dashcam footage approaching the officer at a traffic light on Sims Avenue. The man suddenly grabbed the officer in a chokehold while holding a knife.  In a display of community bravery members of the public rushed in to help disarming the suspect and holding him down until the police arrived to make an arrest. The officer was lucky to escape with only minor injuries and was taken to Changi General Hospital.  The suspect is now facing charges for criminal intimidation and the police have seized the knife used in the incident. Investigations are still happening to figure out why this attack occurred.  This event shows just how dangerous the job can be for our security officers and how important it is when the public steps up to help.

  A shocking tragedy has occurred in Geylang where a seventy year old part time actor lost his life in a violent knife attack. The incident happened on the morning of March 9 2026 at Geylang Lorong 16. The victim Chew Ling Hui was well known for his role in the local movie Geylang and was a familiar face in the neighborhood.  According to witnesses a forty eight year old man who worked as a delivery rider confronted the elderly man near a religious shrine. The two had reportedly been in a dispute since the day before. During the struggle a knife was used and the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim over twenty times. A woman working nearby witnessed the attack and screamed for the man to stop but he continued the assault.   A tragic traffic accident in the heart of Chinatown has resulted in the death of a young child and the arrest of a 38-year-old driver. On February 6 2026, at approximately 11:50 AM, the Singapore Police Force and the Singapore Civil Defence Force were alerted to a serious collision involving a car and two pedestrians along South Bridge Road. The victims were identified as a six-year-old girl and her 31-year-old mother, both tourists from Indonesia who were visiting Singapore with their family. The family of four was reportedly crossing the road at the time of the incident.
