Arrest Made in Genting Highland Room for Murder Case Linked to Loan Shark

Tragic Murder of Malaysian Singer Yuki Koh at age 26

Driver Sentenced for Fatal Collision with Teenager - Punggol Accident

Firhan Aqil Mohamad Amran, 25, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing death. The incident occurred on October 10, 2022, when the 14-year-old victim was using a pedestrian crossing with a green signal. Firhan, failing to obey the red light, struck the boy. Fines for failure to prevent employees from offering sexual services can be up to $5,000, with repeat offenders facing a fine of up to $10,000, a jail term of up to two years, or both. Individuals involved in managing a place offering sexual services may be fined up to $100,000, jailed for up to five years, or both.

Godbrother Jailed 7 Years, Caned for Sexually Assaulting Victim

The man and the woman had known each other since they were children and were even god siblings. The woman came to Singapore from Malaysia to visit and find a job. Her godbrother invited her to stay with him, but he ended up sexually assaulting her. The woman's boyfriend heard her crying on the phone and called her godmother for help. The godmother called the man and demanded to see him on a video call, which is how the woman was able to escape. The man was arrested and pleaded guilty to the charges. The judge said that the man abused his godsister's trust and that what he did was a very serious offense.

From Schoolyard Romance to Attempted Abortion: A Shocking Story

  A 14-year-old boy, who is now 18, pleaded guilty to impregnating his 15-year-old classmate and then trying to abort the fetus using methods found online. He also instigated the girl to bury the stillborn child after it was born. The couple started dating in 2020 and had sex at the boy's home without using protection. In January 2021, the girl found out she was pregnant and concealed it from her family. They attempted various methods found online to abort the fetus but failed. In June 2021, the girl gave birth to a stillborn son while on video call with the boy. He instructed her to cut the umbilical cord, placenta, and bury the body. The girl eventually confessed to her mother, leading to police involvement and the recovery of the body. The boy's defense lawyers requested no reformative training report, citing his first-time offense, young age, good academic record, and supportive family. The judge ordered a probation suitability report and will sentence the boy in January.
