The arrest follows a case reported on February 24, 2024, where black paint was splashed on a residential unit at Boon Lay Place, accompanied by a debtor's note. Utilizing ground investigations and surveillance footage, officers from multiple Police Divisions identified the suspect and apprehended him on February 26, 2024. Preliminary inquiries suggest the man may be connected to other similar incidents across the island. He is slated to face charges under the Moneylenders Act 2008 on February 28, 2024.
