Police Officer Fined for Deceiving Noodle Stall with Fake Payments

Woman Charged with Murder at City Gate Residences

Millions Stolen in Gang Robbery at King Albert Park Residence

  Two Malaysian men, Goh Boon Tong and Muhammad Tauffiq Ahmad Fauzi, were charged with armed gang robbery for stealing over S$4.3 million worth of valuables in a King Albert Park residence on April 18th.  A group of more than four men had robbed 6 victims. They allegedly used parangs and baseball bats during the robbery and also restrained five other individuals.  Both men were arrested in Malaysia and are facing charges that carry up to 20 years in jail and 24 strokes of the cane.  Police are searching for the remaining suspects involved.

Man Charged for Trespass and Assault on Ex-Girlfriend in Bukit Batok

  A 27-year-old man will face charges on 2 May 2024 for allegedly trespassing into his ex-girlfriend's home and assaulting her, causing minor injuries. The incident, reported to the police on 29 April 2024, occurred in Bukit Batok West Avenue 9. Following a swift investigation aided by police camera footage, the suspect was apprehended early on 1 May 2024. He is charged with criminal trespass, which could lead to a three-month jail term or a $1,500 fine, and voluntarily causing hurt, punishable by up to three years in prison or a $5,000 fine. Four Arrested and Nearly 3,000 Cartons of Duty-Unpaid Cigarettes Seized in Singapore Customs Raid

14 Detained in Major Vice Crackdown Across Singapore

The operations by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Central Police Division targeted hotels and residences along Bras Basah Road, Havelock Road, Shanghai Road, and Orchard Road. During the raids, the police seized about $40,000 in cash, mobile phones, and other items linked to vice activities. A 59-year-old man, believed to be the facilitator of an online vice syndicate, is set to be charged on April 29 under the Women’s Charter for aiding prostitution. The ongoing investigations are part of a broader crackdown on organized vice activities, with severe penalties including imprisonment and hefty fines for those found guilty.

Singaporean Suspect Held in Spain for Alleged Murder Linked to CCTV Evidence

  Mitchell Ong, a 43-year-old Singaporean, is being held in custody in Spain, accused of murdering fellow Singaporean Audrey Fang. Ong was arrested after a grey Nissan Qashqai he rented was seen on CCTV near where Fang’s body was discovered on April 10 in an almond grove off the RM-422 highway in Abanilla. Fang had been stabbed 30 times and suffered head trauma. The vehicle was parked at the crime scene for 18 minutes on the evening of April 9, the day Fang disappeared. Further investigations have linked Ong and Fang’s mobile phones to the same location at the time of the murder, and Ong's sneakers matched footprints at the scene. Fatal Accident at Tampines Junction Claims Two Lives, Injures Eight

  A tragic accident at the junction of Tampines Avenue 1 and Tampines Avenue 4 at 7:07 AM on Monday, April 22, 2024, resulted in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to eight others. The incident involved a black Saab, which reportedly ran a red light while overtaking a white Mercedes along Bedok Reservoir Road. Caught on camera, the Saab sideswiped the Mercedes and narrowly missed a motorcyclist before crashing into the busy junction, affecting six vehicles. Among the deceased were a 17-year-old junior college student and a 57-year-old female van passenger, both of whom succumbed to their injuries after being transported to the hospital.
